Ever since I discovered the Barbican many years ago, it has remained one of my top places to go in London.

Amongst the brutalist architectural exterior lies a performance arts centre, ranging from theatre performances, classical and contemporary music concerts, film screenings and art exhibitions. Even a conservatory and a water garden reside in the same complex.

Many contrasts existing side by side: dated vs contemporary, organic vs man made, fluid against rigid. So when it came to searching for locations for the recent blog shoots I stumbled across this scenery of two different building styles - which I find to be popular in this city - and figured it would be a great backdrop. I'd like to think that you think the same!
